AN ACT PROHIBITING THE IMPORT AND SALE OF COSMETICS THAT CONTAIN MICROBEADS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit both the import and sale of cosmetics that contain microbeads.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the state's water resources and aquatic species from pollution posed by microbeads.
