AN ACT CONCERNING ELECTION OF MUNICIPAL BOARD OF FINANCE MEMBERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 9-202 of the general statutes be amended to require that individuals elected to the board of finance of a municipality shall be both electors and taxpayers of such municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that individuals elected to a municipality's board of finance be not only electors, as is presently mandated by law, but also taxpayers of such municipality.
