AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY ON CREATING A TECHNOLOGY SECTOR IN THE STATE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development conduct a study on creating a technology sector in the state and develop legislative recommendations for creating such a sector. Not later than January 1, 2016, the commissioner shall submit, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to commerce, a report of the commissioner's findings and legislative recommendations. Statement of Purpose: To study the creation of a technology sector in the state and develop legislative recommendations for creating such a sector.
