AN ACT EXEMPTING FROM THE SALES TAX THE COST OF PARTS AND LABOR FOR TRUCK REPAIR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to exempt sales tax on parts and labor for repairs to trucks and motor vehicles weighing over twenty-six thousand pounds.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt sales tax on parts and labor for repairs to trucks and motor vehicles to keep the Connecticut repair industry competitive with adjacent states.
