AN ACT CONCERNING THE PENALTIES FOR FAILURE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF REQUIRED FINANCIAL SECURITY COVERAGE FOR PRIVATE PASSENGER MOTOR VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended for when impoundment of a private passenger motor vehicle may be imposed as a penalty when the owner of such vehicle has failed to provide proof of required financial security coverage.
Statement of Purpose:
To amend when impoundment of a private passenger motor vehicle may be imposed as a penalty when the owner of such vehicle has failed to provide proof of required financial security coverage.
