AN ACT CONCERNING A SUBSTITUTE FOR A MEDALLION SIGNATURE GUARANTEE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow individuals seeking to obtain a signature guarantee to have their signature witnessed and notarized by independent individuals with sufficient identification in lieu of a Medallion signature guarantee issued by a financial institution.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for an alternative means of signature authentication.
