AN ACT CONCERNING REFERENCES MADE TO HOUSING AUTHORITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to include a criminal penalty for providing a false reference on behalf of a prospective tenant to a housing authority.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide criminal penalties for giving a false reference to a housing authority on behalf of a prospective tenant.
