AN ACT CONCERNING WORKING PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-597 of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Social Services to waive the fifteen-thousand-dollar asset limit for married couples to be eligible for the state program that provides medical assistance to working persons who have disabilities.
Statement of Purpose:
To waive the asset requirement for married persons to participate in a program that provides medical assistance to working persons with disabilities.
