AN ACT CONCERNING STUDENT TESTING DURING THE JUNIOR YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 163 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to conduct a study of student testing during the junior year of high school and to make recommendations to the General Assembly for legislation regarding ways to spread out such testing requirements over three years of high school.
Statement of Purpose:
To find ways to alleviate testing pressure on students during the junior year of high school.
