AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF DECLINING ENROLLMENT IN SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to study declining student enrollment in school districts and the feasibility of expanding or merging existing regional school districts.
Statement of Purpose:
To study declining enrollment in school districts.
