AN ACT CONCERNING TRANSPORTATION FOR NURSING HOME RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to expand nonemergency transportation of nonambulatory nursing home residents to include travel to homes of family members provided such family members live within the same municipality as the nursing home.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow more nonambulatory nursing home residents to visit the homes of their families.
