AN ACT PROHIBITING CERTAIN HEALTH CARE PROVIDER CONTRACT PROVISIONS FOR PAYMENT OF SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit health insurers or other entities that contract with health care providers to provide health care services from including contract provisions that prohibit payment to such providers for services the insurers or other entities deem not medically necessary.
Statement of Purpose:
