AN ACT CONCERNING ADDITIONAL LIVING EXPENSES COVERAGE UNDER A HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE POLICY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. Section 38a-316d of the general statutes is amended by adding subsection (d) as follows (Effective October 1, 2015):
(NEW) (d) No homeowners insurance policy that includes additional living expense coverage shall impose any time limit on the payment of such living expense coverage.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the imposition of any time limit for the payment of additional living expense coverage included in a homeowners insurance policy.
