AN ACT CONCERNING LABOR DEPARTMENT OVERSIGHT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require legislative oversight and approval for Labor Department initiatives so that proposals to change unemployment tax rates for businesses shall not be done by the department unilaterally.
Statement of Purpose:
To require legislative approval of Labor Department initiatives.
