AN ACT DESIGNATING APRIL AS ADVANCED DIRECTIVE AWARENESS MONTH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. Subsection (a) of section 10-29a of the general statutes is amended by adding subdivision (69) as follows (Effective from passage):
(NEW) (69) Advanced Directive Awareness Month. The Governor shall proclaim the month of April of each year to be Advanced Directive Awareness Month. Suitable exercises shall be held in the State Capitol and elsewhere as the Governor designates for the observance of the month.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
