AN ACT CONCERNING CHILD CAR SEAT INSTALLATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to mandate that every municipality in the state employ at least one individual who is certified in child car seat safety to provide child car seat checks and assist residents with correct child car seat installation.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the number of car seats that are installed correctly in an effort to reduce the number of injuries and fatalities in automobile accidents.
