AN ACT CONCERNING EDUCATIONAL SURROGATES, THE JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM AND CHILDREN REQUIRING SPECIAL EDUCATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require an educational surrogate to be provided to any child with special education needs who is currently involved in the juvenile justice system.

Statement of Purpose: 

To require an educational surrogate to be provided to any child with special education needs who is currently involved in the juvenile justice system.
