AN ACT CONCERNING VALENTIN'S LAW AND CHILD CARE SUBSIDIES FOR PARENTS ATTENDING COLLEGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-749 of the general statutes be amended to allow a parent or caretaker who is attending an institute of higher education on a full-time basis to be eligible for child care subsidies.
Statement of Purpose:
To extend the Care 4 Kids program to assist parents or caretakers who attend college.
