AN ACT AUTHORIZING FUNDS FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF SHELLFISH TESTING AT THE AVERY POINT CAMPUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to The University of Connecticut, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, for the purpose of funding the testing of shellfish at the Avery Point Campus and building a facility at the campus for such testing.
Statement of Purpose:
To support the shellfish industry in Connecticut.
