AN ACT BANNING THE SALE OF IVORY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to ban the sale of ivory in Connecticut for products produced after 2015.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent the killing of elephants for their ivory tusks.
