AN ACT PROVIDING FUNDING FOR CERTAIN EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT'S AVERY POINT CAMPUS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to The University of Connecticut's Avery Point campus, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, for the purpose of funding two new outdoor natural teaching labs for the study of how fertilizers and pesticides are absorbed and discharged by soil and plants and for the construction of a platform for the use of a freshwater pond used in educational efforts.
Statement of Purpose:
To support additional educational opportunities at The University of Connecticut's Avery Point campus.
