AN ACT CONCERNING FARMERS' MARKET COUPONS FOR SENIOR CITIZENS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 22-6q of the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Agriculture to raise to twenty-one dollars the amount of vouchers available for senior citizens to use at designated farmers' markets per season in the Connecticut Farmers' Market/Senior Nutrition Program.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve nutritional assistance for needy senior citizens.
