AN ACT ELIMINATING THE HOSPITAL TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to phase out the hospital tax over a five-year period beginning July 1, 2015.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the hospital tax in order to remove a tax burden from health care providers.
