AN ACT REQUIRING WRITTEN PERMISSION TO PLACE A DONATION BIN IN A PUBLIC PLACE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 21a-430 of the general statutes be amended to provide that no person shall place or cause to be placed in a public place a donation bin for the donation of clothing or other articles unless such person has been granted written permission to place such donation bin in such public place by the owner of such public place or by such owner's duly authorized agent.
Statement of Purpose:
To require written permission to place a donation bin in a public place.
