AN ACT REQUIRING INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY ACUPUNCTURISTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 700c of the general statutes be amended to require health insurance coverage for services rendered by an acupuncturist licensed under chapter 384c of the general statutes to the same extent coverage is provided for services rendered by a physician.
Statement of Purpose:
To require health insurance coverage for services rendered by an acupuncturist licensed under chapter 384c of the general statutes to the same extent coverage is provided for services rendered by a physician.
