AN ACT CONCERNING ASSAULT OF A SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 53a-167c of the general statutes be amended to provide an enhanced penalty for assaulting a school resource officer.
Statement of Purpose:
To include school resource officers in the list of public safety officers covered as victims in the case of an assault as a class C felony.
