AN ACT CONCERNING AN INDIVIDUAL'S ABILITY TO RECLAIM PERSONAL POSSESSIONS OUT OF A REPOSSESSED VEHICLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That sections 36a-784 and 42a-9-609 of the general statutes be amended to provide that an individual shall be entitled to reclaim his or her personal possessions from a repossessed vehicle without being assessed a fee.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow an individual the ability to reclaim his or her possessions from a repossessed vehicle without being assessed a fee.
