AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATE INFORMATION DATA EXCHANGE SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Labor Department to participate in the State Information Data Exchange System so that the state may benefit from the exchange of separation-from-work and earnings verification information with other participating states.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce fraud and increase efficiency in Connecticut's unemployment compensation system.
