AN ACT REQUIRING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ELDER ABUSE REGISTRY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the establishment of an elder abuse registry that shall contain information on health care providers who have been convicted of abuse of an elderly person.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide senior citizens and their families with important information about the health care providers who care for them.
