AN ACT CONCERNING PERFORMANCE STANDARDS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE DANBURY RAIL LINE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Department of Transportation, when the operations contract with Metro-North is next opened, and in subsequent operations contracts, be directed to impose performance standards, goals and sanctions for nonperformance regarding operation of the Danbury rail line.
Statement of Purpose:
To require Metro-North to meet performance standards for its operation of the Danbury rail line.
