AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PREFERENCE IN THE AWARD OF STATE CONTRACTS FOR VETERAN-OWNED BUSINESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 58 of the general statutes be amended to establish a preference for any Connecticut business owned by a veteran, as defined in subsection (a) of section 27-103 of the general statutes, in the award of state contracts.
Statement of Purpose:
To assist veteran-owned businesses in procuring state contracts.
