AN ACT REQUIRING CONSENSUS EXPENDITURE ESTIMATES BY THE SECRETARY OF POLICY AND MANAGEMENT AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE LEGISLATIVE OFFICE OF FISCAL ANALYSIS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 2-36c of the general statutes be amended to require the Secretary of Policy and Management and the director of the legislative Office of Fiscal Analysis to issue consensus expenditure estimates in addition to the consensus revenue estimates currently required under said section.
Statement of Purpose:
To minimize spending projection differences between Connecticut's budget offices.
