AN ACT PERMITTING PRIVATE AND PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS TO ADMINISTER THE MASTERY EXAMINATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 163c of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to permit any private or parochial school to administer the mastery examination, conducted pursuant to section 10-14n of the general statutes, provided the costs associated with the administration of such mastery examination shall be the same as the cost to a public school and shall be borne by the private or parochial school administering such mastery examination.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow private and parochial schools to administer the mastery examination.
