AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A LONG-RANGE PLAN FOR FULL FUNDING OF THE EDUCATION COST SHARING GRANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 172 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to develop a long-range plan for fully funding the education cost sharing grant and adjusting the foundation level.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a more equitable distribution of education cost sharing grant funds.
