AN ACT REQUIRING ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES TO CREDIT CUSTOMERS FOR PROLONGED SERVICE OUTAGES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 16 of the general statutes be amended to require electric distribution companies to credit customers one day of service for every five consecutive days of service outage. Statement of Purpose: To hold electric distribution companies responsible for failure to provide service to their customers.
