AN ACT CONCERNING A SALES TAX EXEMPTION FOR ORIGINAL ART.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to provide a sales tax exemption for original art.
Statement of Purpose:
To build on the success of Connecticut's historic artists' enclaves and present-day artistic activities by providing a sales tax exemption for original art.
