AN ACT REQUIRING MORE IMMEDIATE DISCLOSURE OF CAMPAIGN FINANCES AFTER AN ELECTION. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 155 of the general statutes be amended to require each treasurer of a candidate committee to file a financial disclosure statement with the State Elections Enforcement Commission not later than ten calendar days after the election. Statement of Purpose: To change from forty-five days to ten days the time in which a candidate committee treasurer shall file a post-election financial disclosure statement.
