AN ACT DESIGNATING SPINAL MUSCULAR ATROPHY WITH RESPIRATORY DISTRESS AWARENESS DAY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-29a of the general statutes be amended to require the Governor to designate a day as Spinal Muscular Atrophy with Respiratory Distress Awareness Day.
Statement of Purpose:
To recognize and bring awareness to spinal muscular atrophy with respiratory distress (SMARD).
