AN ACT CONCERNING OVERVOTING FOR A CANDIDATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 9-242 of the general statutes be amended to provide that voting machines be adjusted to reject ballots when a voter has voted for the same candidate more than once on the same ballot.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce confusion in vote tallying.
