AN ACT REPEALING THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING LAND USE APPEALS ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to repeal sections 8-30g and 8-30h of the general statutes, and to require municipalities to report on their affordable housing progress in the State Conservation and Development Plan.
Statement of Purpose:
To repeal the affordable housing land use appeal process and to allow municipalities more control over development in their communities.
