AN ACT CONCERNING EMERGENCY POWER IN SENIOR HOUSING COMPLEXES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to require the Housing Commissioner to issue regulations requiring owners of developments housing not less than one hundred senior citizens to have emergency power generators capable of providing sufficient power to ensure the health and well-being of elderly tenants. Statement of Purpose: To provide sufficient power to ensure the health and well-being of elderly tenants in housing developments of not less than one hundred units.
