AN ACT CONCERNING SECURITY DEPOSITS FOR AGE-RESTRICTED PUBLIC HOUSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That part VI of chapter 128 of the general statutes be amended to allow elderly persons residing in any age-restricted public housing to retain their security deposit for the full term of the lease.
Statement of Purpose:
To enhance the preservation of age-restricted public housing options for elderly persons on fixed incomes.
