AN ACT REQUIRING ADDITIONAL AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE COVERAGE UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require any individual who has committed an offense while operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, or both, to purchase additional automobile insurance coverage.
Statement of Purpose:
To require any individual who has committed an offense while operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, or both, to purchase additional automobile insurance coverage.
