AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CAUSE OF ACTION FOR FRAUD IN THE COURT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit a party to any civil or family matter to bring an action for fraud in the court if, after the entry of judgment in such matter, it is discovered that the opposing party or counsel for the opposing party fraudulently concealed material from the court or knowingly misled the court.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a legal cause of action for fraud in the court in civil and family matters.
