AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF ADEQUATE EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT SERVICES TO CHILD SUPPORT OBLIGORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 46b-84 of the general statutes be amended to ensure that a child support obligor is provided with adequate employment support services and the opportunity to obtain gainful employment prior to being incarcerated for failure to comply with a child support order.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide adequate employment support services to child support obligors prior to incarcerating such obligors for failure to comply with a child support order.
