AN ACT PROHIBITING EMPLOYERS FROM DISCRIMINATING AGAINST EMPLOYEES ON THE BASIS OF CREDIT STATUS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit employers from discriminating against current or prospective employees on the basis of such employees' consumer credit status.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect individuals from workplace discrimination on the basis of personal credit status.
