AN ACT CONCERNING THE SALE OF FOOD PRODUCTS MADE IN RESIDENTIAL KITCHENS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Public Health to issue licenses to persons using residential kitchens to bake nonhazardous food products for sale, including breads, cakes, doughnuts, pastries, buns, rolls, cookies biscuits and jams.

Statement of Purpose: 

To allow the sale of nonhazardous food products made in residential kitchens.
