AN ACT REQUIRING A POWER-ASSISTED DOOR AT ELDERLY HOUSING COMPLEXES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 541 of the general statutes be amended to require a housing authority of any municipality to install at least one door that is automatically activated at each elderly housing complex maintained by such authority.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for easy entry by the elderly at elderly housing complexes by requiring the installation of one power-assisted door.
