AN ACT CONCERNING THE INVESTIGATION OF THE USE OF DEADLY PHYSICAL FORCE BY PEACE OFFICERS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 51-277a of the general statutes be amended to require that, when the Division of Criminal Justice investigates the use of deadly force by a peace officer, the division shall not permit the peace officer or the agency employing such peace officer to conduct the investigation or provide assistance to determine the circumstances of the incident.
