AN ACT CONCERNING THE PENALTIES FOR DRIVING WHILE TEXTING OR USING A HAND-HELD MOBILE TELEPHONE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (h) of section 14-296aa of the general statutes be amended to increase the penalties by ____ amount.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the penalties for texting and using a hand-held mobile telephone while driving.
